HOTSTART CB models, are a coolant preheaters developed to maintain optimal temperatures for diesel and gas engines, construction equipment, trucks, heavy duty mobile equipment, marine and industrial applications. HOTSTART engine heaters maintain an engine’s operating temperature during downtime and serve as an excellent cold weather or emergency starting aid while eliminating needless idling. HOTSTART CB models circulate heated coolant using the thermosiphon principle, a method of passive heat exchange which circulates a fluid without the necessity of a mechanical pump.
HOTSTART CB engine heaters provide even heat distribution resulting in reduced engine wear, quick start-ups and reduced emissions. Pressure die-cast aluminum tank construction means HOTSTART heaters are built to last. Each unit includes a hi-limit safety thermostat rated for 205°F (95°C) ensuring safe operation day to day, year after year. These single-phase engine heaters are designed for hard-wire electrical connection using rigid or flexible conduit. All models are available with or without flow-through thermostat assemblies.
